Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort (YLPTR) held a training session on Sept 28, a move to increase local enterprises' awareness of environmental protection and lend them a hand in environmental management. More than 100 enterprise representatives participated.

At the event, Yang Weizhou, an officer from YLPTR Safety Supervision and Environmental Management Office, gave the participants a detailed account of the necessary measures that enterprises shall take to prevent pollution caused by industrial wastes, and expounded on the negative consequences of industrial pollution based on real cases.

The YLPTR authorities revealed that they plan to host more events of similar kind to ensure efficient environmental protection and sustainable development of enterprises in the area.
