The 7th (2017) DeviceChina, jointly sponsored by SIP BioBay and China Association for Medical Devices Industry (CAMDI), kicked off in SIP on Sept 2. More than 400 famous domestic and overseas medical device inventors, medical scientists, new entrepreneurs, investors and multinationals' executives were present. Zhou Xudong, deputy secretary of SIP Party Working Committee and director of SIP Administrative Committee, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

As China's first summit specializing in medical devices, DeviceChina has been held for seven consecutive years since 2011. This year, thanks to the collaboration with CAMDI, more industry experts showed up at the event. Centering on the development of China’s medical device industry and the policy changes following the medical reform in recent years, they held profound discussions about a series of hot topics, such as new medical materials, interventional therapies for heart diseases and their extension and expansion as well as precision medicine.
