The 2017 SZCAC Arts School Comprehensive Performance Competition kicked off recently at Suzhou Culture and Arts Centre (SZCAC) Grand Theatre. About 500 students from SZCAC Arts School presented over 20 dance and other art performances.

Prior to the beginning of the competition, a ceremony was held, at which Suzhou's three major cultural carriers, i.e., Suzhou Symphony Orchestra (SZSO), Suzhou Ballet Theatre (SZBT) and Suzhou Jinji Lake Art Museum (SZJLAM), designated SZCAC Arts School as their official training base.

Established in 2012, the school is located in the complex of SZCAC, with training venues covering a total area of 3,000 sqm, including over 40 classrooms for various art training programs. With brilliant teachers and excellent professional training venues, the school enjoys a high popularity in Suzhou's art training market, especially in the ballet training circle. It has cultivated more than 1,000 students.
