Suzhou Industrial Park Planning & Construction Bureau officially announced the scheme for the construction of Xingtang Street northward extension project. From Suhong East Road in south to Yangchenghu Avenue in north and in the shape of viaduct, the project is to be put into construction soon as a new north-south artery road in SIP.

According to the plan, the two-way six-lane road will connect with Tingqing Street and partially intersect with Loujiang Expressway. Besides, on the basis of the current three ramps for south towards east, south towards west and west towards south, two new ramps, from north to west and west to north, are to be added. After the completion of the project, it will greatly smooth the traffic between the northern SIP and China-Singapore Cooperative Zone.
