A group of experts from Research and Development International (RDI), a policy research and advisory body affiliated to the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, visited SIP’s biomedicine cluster BioBAY on Nov 17 in a tour around the area aiming to learn about local social and economic development. 

 

Accompanied by Zhou Weiqiang, chairman of CPPCC Suzhou Committee, and Wu Qingwen, secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee, the experts viewed the displays at BioBAY’s exhibition hall and gained a holistic picture of local industrial structure, talent programs and business incubation mechanisms. Based on that, they offered advice for its future development.
