Luke Goh, deputy secretary of the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) of Singapore, and his contingent visited SIP Training Management Center (SIP-TMC) on July 30 for a survey on its training services.

The delegation members first had a tour around the center’s training base, and gave high praise to the training facilities and approaches there.

After that, the guests listened to a report on SIP-TMC’s training services based on experience borrowed from Singapore and its efforts in helping roll out SIP’s industrial development and public administration experience to other areas of the country through various training programs. SIP-TMC hopes to strengthen cooperation with Civil Service College Singapore and other Singaporean partners in offering training to government employees in the Yangtze River Delta region.
Luke Goh expressed expectations for further cooperation in training programs, and suggested the use of remote communication and other advanced technologies in ensuring better training outcomes.
