CCIC Huatongwei International Testing (Suzhou) Co Ltd, a joint venture founded by Chinese third-party certification and inspection service supplier China Certification & Inspection Group (CCIC) and its partners, came into operation in SIP on Apr 29. 

CCIC is a global leading supplier of comprehensive inspection, verification, certification and testing services, with a vast business network covering the trade, manufacturing, consumer goods and service sectors. It now operates six projects in Suzhou, including four in SIP. 

The new company, with an estimated total investment of RMB 30 million, currently boasts an array of best-in-class laboratories and 373 sets of advanced devices that enable it to provide high-quality one-stop testing services for SIP’s enterprises, especially those engaged in biomedicine, medical equipment, AI and new materials. It is expected to realize an annual output value of RMB 50 to 60 million within the first three years.

“We provide not only equipment, but also technical support. We believe our services based on both domestic and international technical norms will help propel industrial transformation and upgrading in SIP,” the company’s general manager Lu Gongfu said.
