SIP Science and Technology and Information Office (SIP-STIO) launched the Sci-Tech Information Sharing Program in 2016 to hold weekly information sessions to help local administrative staff keep abreast of the latest information about science and technology development. This week's event, held on Nov 19, focused on the IC (integrated circuit) industry.

At the event, Zhou Quan, deputy general manager of Crealights Technology, a company founded in SIP in 2011 to offer high-efficient and low-cost optical components and optical communication solutions, gave the participants a talk on the development of the IC industry home and abroad, and offered advice on strategies of building an ecosystem for technological innovation of related businesses in SIP.
