AI summit held in SIP

Sponsored by Soochow University (SU), the 2018 Artificial Intelligence Summit Forum was held in SIP on Oct 23, gathering a host of globally influential scientists and entrepreneurs to share their opinions on a variety of hot topics concerning AI technology development and application.

At the event, SU AI Research Institute inaugurated its Academic Board for AI, hoping it can help accelerate application of related research findings in economic operations.

Several participating experts and scholars gave speeches. Gao Wen, professor at Peking University and academician at the Chinese Academy of Engineering, gave a talk on brain-like visual computing, while Fang Binxing, president of the council of Cybersecurity Association of China and academician at the Chinese Academy of Engineering, expounded on a series of issues concerning AI security.
