Suzhou Industrial Internet Alliance was inaugurated at the Suzhou Industrial Internet Development Conference held on Oct 19. It is expected to greatly promote cooperation between local governments, enterprises and research institutions in widening application of Internet technologies in industrial production.

It is reported that the alliance now has 397 members, mostly Suzhou-based leading industrial information technology developers and related business operators. Among them are 90 from SIP where an alliance of similar kind was erected in May and a series of projects for development and application of Industrial Internet technologies and platforms are underway.
