Suzhou CPS Technology Co Ltd (hereinafter referred to as CPS), an SIP-based Sino-Dutch joint venture committed to providing one-stop industrial waste water and gas treatment solutions, scooped the third prize for growing startups in the 6th "Entrepreneurship in Jiangsu" Sci-Tech Startups' Contest final held last month in Nanjing, capital of East China's Jiangsu province.

Initiated by Jiangsu Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with several other provincial government departments, the contest is aimed at discovering promising business startups and rendering them help in their development.

CPS has seen a fast growth since its founding in SIP's Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort in 2011, currently with tens of patents for environmental protection products and technologies. Its deamination membrane for disposal of high-ammonia-nitrogen wastewater is covered by the central and provincial governments' priority support programs.
