Suzhou AGV Robot Co Ltd, an AGV (automatic guided vehicle) manufacturer in SIP's Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort, scooped the gold prize for "Outstanding Mechanical Patent" at the latest member congress held in Suzhou by Jiangsu Provincial High-Quality Machinery Development Promotion and Machinery Industry Association.

The company won the prize for its proprietary reflector-free laser AGV that breaks the technical monopoly of other countries in the field and enables higher work efficiency at lower cost. The AGV solution boasts real-time optimization of working site maps and travel plans so that it works well even without navigation signs or reflectors that usually cost a lot to maintain.

It is learnt that the breakthrough technology has won the company a list of awards home and abroad.
