The SIP Industrial Internet Alliance was founded on May 31, comprising 50 domestic and overseas enterprises and organizations engaged in the Industrial Internet sector.

Industrial Internet, a term coined by US corporation General Electric, draws together the fields such as machine learning, big data, the Internet of things and machine-to-machine communication to ingest data from machines, analyze it (often in real-time), and use it to adjust operations. With well-developed high-end manufacturing and advanced technologies, SIP is definitely a breeding ground for related business development.

The alliance is dedicated to facilitating enterprises' cooperation, guiding them to seek innovative development, supporting their researches and formulating local industrial standards. It will hold monthly and annual meetings to enhance the interaction across the sector.
