The 2017 (2nd) China BioMed Innovation and Investment Conference (CBIIC) kicked off at Suzhou Jinji Lake International Convention Center on Oct 29 and will last for three days. Representatives from related government departments, research and development institutes, business startups and investment organizations were present and discussed how to promote an innovative development of Chinese medicine industry by luring domestic and overseas social capitals.

Jointly sponsored by China Pharmaceutical Innovation and Research Development Association (PhIRDA), Securities Association of China (SAC) and China Association for Medical Devices Industry (CAMDI), the event consists of keynote speeches, enterprises' presentations, investors' reports as well as discussions about related policies and development trends, designed to help the enterprises acquire the latest information and look for domestic and overseas partners.

At the opening ceremony, the Cooperation Agreement on Pharmaceutical Innovation among Chinese Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao was signed. Meanwhile, PhIRDA signed a Momorandum of Understanding with the US National Foundation for Cancer Research.
