25HC can help the human have immunity to Microcephaly caused by ZIKV

Under the auspices of Suzhou Institute of Systems Medicine of Center of Systems Medicine, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and with the participation of Institute of Microbiology and Epidemiology of Academy of Military Medical Sciences, Institute of Genetics and Development Biology of Chinese Academy of Science and UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles), the anti-ZIKV effect by CH25H and its enzyme catalysis product 25HC was researched, showing for the first time that 25HC can protect the human against the disease caused by ZIKV. The report on the research fruit has been published on line in Immunity, a prestigious international periodical, on March 15.
