2016 Annual Meeting of SIP Hotel Industry Association (SIPHIA) was held in Worldhotel Grand Dushulake Suzhou. A total of 60 leaders and representatives from the association member units took part in the meeting. Bao Weiming, deputy director of Suzhou Tourism Bureau sang high praise for the achievements made by the hotel industry in SIP.

Song Qiudao, deputy secretary general of SIPHIA made a report on 2016 hotel industry development, giving an all-round account of the development and characteristics of the hotel industry in SIP. As member representatives, Worldhotel Grand Dushulake Suzhou, Crowne Plaza Suzhou, Howard Johnson All Suites Suzhou and Novotel Suzhou SIP shared their successful experience in hotel operation and management in the past year.

At the end of the meeting, Xu Hong, chairman of the SIPHIA and Chen Baolong, honorary chairman presented the annual work report and financial report respectively.

Xu reported on SIP’s economic and social development achievements in 2016 and put forward the association’s four major tasks in 2017.
