In the first six months of this year, Suzhou Industrial Park Local Taxation Bureau granted 3,780 cases of tax refund, growing by 37.5% over that of the corresponding period of last year. The total amount of the tax refund reached 310 million yuan, with an increase of 137.4% over that of the corresponding period of last year and the average monthly amount of 52 million yuan. In recent years, by persisting on the principle of "failure in tax reduction or exemption equals to excessive levy", and by optimizing service, enhancing management, streamlining procedures, using technology to speed up processing, and promoting paperless tax refund, SIP Local Taxation Bureau has been pressing ahead with the development of SIP enterprises.
