On September 2, SIP Administration for Industry and Commerce issued to Mai Dewang (Suzhou) Medical Device Co., Ltd. the first-ever new edition of the business license that bears the unified social credit code.

As is required by State Administration for Industry and Commerce of the PRC, Jiangsu Province started the registration reform from September 1 by issuing the business license bearing the unified social credit code, which is the further simplified form of license combining business license, organizational code, and tax registration certificate. In the 18-digit code, the first digit stands for the authority of registrar, the 2nd for the type of organization, the 3rd to the 8th for administrative region of registration authority, the 9th to 17th for identification of the business entity, and the 18th for verification.
