On May 14, Dushu Alliance, with the aim of boosting all-round development of China's independent innovation-driven medical equipment enterprises, was established and its alliance base by Dushu Lake was also put into use. The alliance is jointly initiated and established by several independent innovation-driven medical equipment enterprises in Suzhou Industrial Park, and now it has first 20-odd member units, including medical equipment enterprises, investing and financing enterprises and industrial suppliers.

Dushu Alliance is the country's first high-quality alliance set up by regional independent innovation-driven medical equipment enterprises and it endeavors to build up a "medical equipment industrial ecological circle". With the support of government departments concerned and by cooperating with the enterprises based on independent innovation inside and outside SIP, the alliance will create a healthy credit system in the industry and integrate resources of the alliance, social strata, market, and government departments so as to render services to the growth and development of China's independent innovation-driven medical equipment enterprises.
