A series of events kicked off at nine communities in SIP on Jan 18 to offer local kids free courses on robotics, programming, fine art, music, I-go or other disciplines. The Education Work Committee at SIP Party Working Committee, one of the events’ organizers, disclosed that events of the kind are scheduled at 28 communities over the following three days to help over 600 kids enrich their winter vacation that started on the same day.

According to the committee, it initiated the “Free Courses for Families” in 2018 in collaboration with SIP Youth & Children Center (SIPYCC) with the purpose of lending a hand to parents without enough time to take care of their children during vacations.

“Many volunteers and excellent teachers from SIPYCC are serving under the program to give courses and provide consultancy to parents,” the committee said.
