SIP Xingwan School kicked off its 12th sports meet at its Linglongwan Campus on Sept 29.

 

The event started with a grand opening ceremony. Led by the flag bearers, 13 students’ and judges’ teams paraded around the stadium track to the accompaniment of exciting music.

 

After that the national anthem started, and the national flag was raised. Song Jun, vice principal of the school, then announced the opening of the event and delivered a speech. Athlete and judge representatives took oaths to ensure fair competition during the event. 

 

The students then staged a series of performances including songs, boxing and aerobics shows and a fan dance to celebrate the opening of the event and the country’s 70th birthday.

 

Following that, the games began amidst cheers and applauses.
