The 2019 (11th) “Dongtingshan Cup” SIP Primary and Middle School Students’ Sunshine Sports Meet wrapped up at SIP Jingcheng School on Aug 23 following the conclusion of the volleyball finals. 

 

The sports meet, an annual event in SIP, is designed to enrich youngsters’ summer vacation and help them acquire better sports skills. Statistics show that participants are increasing year by year. It is reported that over 5,000 students from primary and middle schools in SIP competed in this year’s basketball, volleyball, Chinese chess, I-go and modeling contests from late June.

 

A closing ceremony was held on the same day, and the top three place winners in each category of contests received awards.
