An event where a group of kindergarten teachers made research of their teaching activities at the newly opened laboratories at SIP Teacher Development Center was live-streamed on Apr 26 so that teachers in over 100 kindergartens in SIP watched it on line. This marked a breakthrough in applying Internet technologies in educational activities.

At the SIP Educational Big Data Application Laboratory and Digital Learning Laboratory which came into service at the center last month, the teachers from SIP Xincheng Garden Kindergarten discussed teaching approaches and content aimed at helping their students acquire a better understanding of local culture, and shared the whole process with on-line viewers by virtue of the laboratories’ digital and multimedia devices.

It is learnt that the laboratories boast a set of advanced equipment to help develop tools and methods to widen application of big data, cloud computing, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and other related technologies in education.
