Shanghai Jiao Tong University (Suzhou) AI Research Institute in SIP opened its Lifelong Learning Center on Dec 11, hoping it can help drive ongoing pursuit of knowledge on AI for personal or professional reasons.

The center reportedly offers a set of learning programs for college students, enterprise staff and technical researchers.

"We have launched a series of training programs targeting teachers at colleges and universities and technical personnel at enterprises. Additionally, we plan to host diverse academic and networking events such as workshops and forums to facilitate expertise exchange," said Liao Peng, vice president of the research institute.

The inauguration ceremony was coupled with the 20th Jinji Lake Public Lecture, one of the regular events hosted by SIP Training Management Center to help local enterprises and their staff enhance interaction with their peers. In this part, a number of AI experts shared their opinions on AI development and its influence on traditional industries.
