SIP high school launches pilot training program

SIP No. 2 Senior High School launched a pilot training program called "Eyas Plan" on Nov 23, aiming to help engage and retain the next generation of aviation professionals. The school revealed that they plan to start on- and off-line recruitment for 30 male junior high school graduates on Mar 1, 2019.

According to the school staff, the program consists of regular high school courses and those tailored for aviation professionals, and experts from domestic and overseas airlines, aviation schools and pilot associations will join the program to give lessons to the students.

At the launching ceremony, the school signed an agreement with Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association of China (AOPA-China) to start collaboration in student recruitment and training.

Shen Jian, director of SIP Education Bureau, promised on behalf of the local authority to offer policy, financial and other support to the program.
