China High-Tech Group, a Chinese education service conglomerate, and the Cultural and Educational Cooperation Division at the Embassy of France in China signed an agreement in Suzhou on Nov 12, announcing to jointly set up the China-France Education and Research Center and get down to preparations for a joint vocational education platform.

The center, based in Suzhou, is aimed at building up a bridge between Chinese and French education and research departments and organizations for in-depth collaboration in talent cultivation, technology research, policy consultation and international exchanges.

The vocational education platform reportedly will specialize in talent exchange, training, technology incubation and innovation for the purpose of bolstering industrial development.
