SIP Industrial Technical School (SIPITS) competed in the 2018 Suzhou Vocational Schools' Information-based Teaching Design Contest at Suzhou Tourism and Finance Institute on June 12, and led the pack with three first prizes, one second prize and four third prizes. Moreover, four of its teaching designs advanced to the provincial level contest.

The contest is designed to encourage teachers to employ information technologies in their teaching for higher education quality. This exactly meshes with SIPITS' goal to propel education modernization relying on advanced technologies. To achieve the goal, SIPITS has organized many training programs and experience exchange events to help teachers enhance their teaching ability. That is the reason it achieved an overwhelming victory in the contest.
