Li Shuyu, a grade-3 pupil from SIP Fangzhou Primary School, made her appearance in the fashion show of New York Fashion Week in September 2016.

Such an outstanding girl, with nice temperament, is not nurtured specially with big money but by the school's model society. And many students in the school are as good in talent and skills as Li.

The school boasts more than 90 societies and associations, including those of dance, pingtan (ballad singing and story telling in Suzhou dialect), model, Chinese painting, football, drama, traditional operas, and Kunqu Opera, and the students can join any of them in accordance with their different interests.

Qu Hejun, vice principal of the school, said that as the students spend their longest time of a day on campus, the school ought to make the best use of its superior resources to develop the students.
