Representatives from Vesuvius Advanced Ceramics (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. gave gifts of the new semester to Shengpu Experimental Primary School, Dushu Lake School, Loufeng Experimental Primary School, Dongshahu School and Xietang School in SIP on Feb 10. It is a total of 200,000 yuan ($ 29,080) donation that Vesuvius gives these five schools for development of their extra-curricular societies, respectively being monocycle team, nano-science society, fancy rope-skipping team, music society and Pingtan (story telling and ballad singing in Suzhou dialect) society.

Since 2011, Vesuvius donates 200,000 yuan each year to help SIP schools develop their extra-curricular societies, which has benefited more than 20,000 student/times.
