On the morning of October 26, the Kunqu Opera & Pingtan were given at Suzhou Industrial Park Youth & Children Center (SIPYCC) as one of the performances of 2014 Suzhou Children & Teens Traditional Culture and Arts Festival. The students from SIPYCC and SIP Fangzhou Primary School performed famous Kunqu Opera excerpts The Peony Pavilion and The Palace of Long Life, and played classic pingtan Good Scenery in Suzhou, which were highly acclaimed by the audience.

It is reported that the last concert, Guqin (a seven-stringed plucking instrument, or ancient zither) play is to be given at SIPYCC this weekend.
