Karlsruhe Institute for Technology, best known as KIT and one of the largest and most prestigious research and education institutions in Germany, celebrated the opening of its China Branch at Dushu Lake Sci-Edu Innovation District in Suzhou Industrial Park on May 16.

The school will serve as an interdisciplinary platform for KIT to have more efficient communications with the country in education, research, and innovation. It will also serve as an important base to introduce KIT's resources and strengths to SIP. Meanwhile, KIT China Branch will connect SIP with German hi-tech companies and recruit for SIP top professionals from Germany and Europe. KIT China Branch signed cooperation agreements with Soochow University and Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University at the opening ceremony.
