SIP Market Supervision Bureau (SIPMSB) launched a service on Nov 20 to allow enterprises’ legal persons and shareholders (natural persons) to have their identity validated for business registration through a WeChat program consisting of real name authentication and facial recognition modules. The remote authentication service can help avoid inconvenience in face-to-face authentication and improve SIPMSB’s supervision efficiency. 

 

SIPMSB disclosed that it will widen use of information technologies in the future to make its services more easily available to local enterprises.
