SIP authorities held a meeting on Nov 15 to make deployment for local urban management. SIP Administrative Committee director Ding Lixin and deputy director Zhu Jiang were present.

 

The event included a roundup of SIP’s year-to-date achievements in such aspects as curbing illegal buildings and advertisements, landscaping, environmental protection and infrastructure construction and upgrading. 

 

The event highlighted the importance of information-based urban management. Specific plans were announced for the construction of a series of digital law enforcement systems designed to expand information disclosure and enhance public supervision over illicit behaviors like random garbage dumping and parking.

Ding spoke at the event, underlining that SIP’s next goal for urban management is to transform from extensive management to detail-oriented management.
