Xu Huimin inspects Bosch Automotive Products (Suzhou)

Xu Huimin, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee and secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee, visited Bosch Automotive Products (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. on Feb 6 to learn about its smart manufacturing development conditions and experience its distinctive innovation path at its industrial 4.0 exhibition hall.

Xu pointed out that the traditional manufacturers should place importance on smart manufacturing, which could help improve production efficiency and produce other value chains. He also pledged that SIP Administrative Committee would continue to intensify its efforts to provide meticulous service for Bosch to support its development in Suzhou.

Bosch Automotive Products (Suzhou) was founded in SIP in 1999 and it now has 8,100-plus employees in its divisions of automotive electronics, chassis systems control, car multimedia, machine building, etc. The company boasts 30% of sales volume of Bosch China in auto & smart transportation business, and is the largest production base of Bosch outside Germany.

Besides, through the past 18 years' development, Bosch Automotive Products (Suzhou) has evolved from a production workshop to an R&D and innovation base of its headquarters. Its new R&D building in SIP is expected to be put into use in 2018.
