Xu Huimin, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee and secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee, visited Xietang Sub-district on Feb 3, the first work day after the Chinese New Year, to learn about the social conditions and public opinions, give encouragement to innovation-oriented enterprises, push forward the construction of a batch of projects, resolve a number of contradictions and problems, sum up a batch of typical grass-roots cases, and perfect a series of policies and measures. The move was aimed to implement the instructions designated at the sixth plenary session of 18th CPC Central Committee and the provincial and municipal Party congresses, as well as to achieve the goal of strengthening cohesive force to innovate, enriching the people, and building with a high standard a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way.

Xu paid visits to low-income family, ordinary family and the family of entrepreneur, kept abreast of the work of grass-roots Party building in Xietang Sub-district, and inspected SVG Optronics and Gold Mantis.
