On May 30, Wang Xiang, Standing Committee Member of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee and Secretary of CPC Suzhou Industrial Park Working Committee, visited Weiting Sub-district for survey. Together with the latest CPC campaign (which requires all Party members to study the Party Constitution and the remarks of General Party Secretary Xi Jinping, and to become qualified Party members, hereinafter referred to as the "Campaign") and open & innovative experiments, the survey group studied and analyzed the new trends, tasks and requirements in the current development, continuing to further advance the economic and social development with the Party building as the primary driver.

Tingyuan Community is a relocated community set up in July 2008. Wang Xiang visited the service offices including community service center and food market, and inquired into the service conditions of the community activity center as well as the household water & power supply. Regarding the leakage of underground parking lot, Wang Xiang required to find out and have the problem addressed. In the community service center, Wang Xiang asked about the implementation of the intelligent community programme and indicated that the regional integration mainly relies on the integrated administration, and the responsible personnel shall make field investigations and lose no time in solving any problems, so as to ensure the long-term and effective administration of the community.

In Weiting Party School, Wang Xiang inquired into the targeted enrollment, curriculum schedule and the implementation of the Campaign. He fully affirmed the main achievements of this year and future work plan of Weiting Party School, and said that it shall diversify the education forms, and talks on the Party Constitution and Party Rules can be planned for the elderly Party members.

As a key sector of the comprehensive business district in the east, General Business District of Inter-City Railway Station In Suzhou Industrial Park is designed to serve as the traffic hub, modern service center, life & business complex and SIP portal in the north. In the relocation site, Wang Xiang had a detailed understanding concerning the repo progress and any difficulties encountered, and urged that preparations be made to continue the land requisition-related work.

At the discussion of grass-roots Party organizations, secretaries from Qingjianhu, Xinzhen, Gaobang and Tingyuan communities reported the implementation of the Campaign. After learning about the specific measures for and difficulties encountered in the Campaign, Wang Xiang said that the key of the Campaign is to learn and take initiative, and through the Campaign, cadres at the grass-roots level will have an enhanced awareness as a Party member, and notably improve their model role. Cadres are required to improve their image and strengthen their service ability so as to enhance the folk's sense of belonging.

At the follow-up discussion, Wang Xiang affirmed the achievements made by Weiting Sub-district in the Party building and economic & social advancement. He pointed out that Weiting Sub-district is encouraged to achieve better results in the Campaign, secure a better outcome in the transformation and upgrading, make a better achievement in the well-being of its citizens, get a better assurance on the social governance, and secure better result on social stability.

Wang Xiang urged that the grass-roots cadres of Weiting Sub-district have a clear understanding of the current new trends and requirements. With the guidance of the new leading group, it shall have a stronger confidence in development, innovate the system and mechanism, accelerate the transformation and upgrading, promote the people-enriching programme, and take proper steps to advance the growth, promote the reform, adjust the structure, benefit the people and secure social stability. Efforts shall be made to tackle new issues in the transformation, and find a new path and create new experience for the regional integrated development in SIP and even for the urban-rural integrated development in Suzhou.
