A provincial evaluation group, entrusted by the provincial government structuring office and consisting of Wang Manchuan, Secretary-general of China Society of Administrative Reform, professor of Chinese Academy of Governance and Tutor of PhD program, and Ma Taijian, Vice-director of provincial legal affairs office, came to inspect and accept the work of Suzhou Industrial Park in reform of relatively concentrated administrative approval powers.

SIP was officially designated by the state as a pilot zone for reform of relatively concentrated administrative approval powers, and SIP Administrative Approving Bureau was set up last year on this basis.

Following the site survey and discussions, the evaluation group expressed hope that SIP would further optimize the approval procedure, strengthen supervision during and after the approval, explore the governance framework of "concentrated, efficient approval, classified supervision, and comprehensive administrative enforcement", and pointed out that the experimental reform in SIP had achieved its objective, and SIP's experience was worth introducing to other development zones and industrial parks in Jiangsu and the whole country.
