On the afternoon of May 19, Suzhou Industrial Park held a mobilization meeting on Party class and the education campaign of "three stricts and three honests" among all SIP leading cadres pursuant to the plans of the central, provincial, and municipal Party committees. To begin with the upcoming campaign, Wang Xiang, Standing Committee member of CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee and Secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee, gave a vivid and thought-provoking Party class by talking about his own gains and reflections on the study of Party principles and practices, and also called on active participation of all Party members of SIP in the education campaign.

Wang pointed out in his speech that the current special education campaign was an important initiative taken by the Party central committee headed by General Secretary Xi Jinping and a major long-term political task for our Party, and all the leading Party cadres should deepen their understanding of the necessity and significance of the campaign as a means of strict Party governance and improving their political integrity, and powerful guarantee for achieving new victories in SIP development.

By comparing with the requirements of "three stricts and three honests", Wang also pointed out, problems did exist among some cadres of SIP in their ideological and political beliefs, personal cultivation of Party style, use of administrative powers, and personal behaviors, and it was necessary to find out the root causes and conduct self-rectifications. All the Party members, Wang said, especially the leading cadres, should follow the call of the Party central committee and set an example of being strict with themselves in self-cultivation, in use of powers, and in observing disciplines, and being pragmatic in performing their duties, in entrepreneurship, and in honest behaviors.

Wang Xiang stressed that we should avail ourselves of the opportunity of the education campaign to build a brand-new profile of the rank and file of SIP cadres, forge strong adhesive power to unite the whole of SIP to achieve new glories, and build a lustrous brand of diligent and honest administration in SIP.
