The waiting line outside a traditional Chinese breakfast diner at Hudong (east of Jinji Lake) in Suzhou Industrial Park reaches over 20 meters every morning and some are willing to wait one hour for Shaobing (a baked, layered flatbread), Youtiao (a deep fried bread bar), and soybean milk. Wang Senlin the owner said they had eight workers making at least 3,000 Shaobing and 2,000 Youtiao a day and need more than 100 kilograms of flour. But this is "far from enough" and they have to send some at the end of the line back home empty handed every day.
