The construction site of Suzhou Center in Huxi (west of Jinji Lake) of Suzhou Industrial Park is in full swing. It is reported that the complex has three floors and partly four floors underground with a foundation pit of an area of 140,000 square meters. The excavation depth is between 17 to 22 meters and excavated earth amounts to 2.2 million cubic meters as the biggest earthwork in China. The building is estimated to be put into use in 2017.
