More than 300 artworks by over 100 artists from 16 countries will be shown at the theme exhibitions.

Among the works are those by a number of world-famous masters including Auguste Rodin, Andy Warhol and Le Corbusier, and a series of digital works, installations and sculptures created based on the design and symbolization of the bridges in Suzhou.

There will be the winning works from the Le Cabanon 2.0 design competition which is being held under the cooperation between the biennale’s design team and the Fondation Le Corbusier as a tribute to Le Corbusier, a Swiss-French architect, designer, painter, urban planner, writer and one of the pioneers of what is now regarded as modern architecture.

About 90% of the exhibits from overseas will be shown in the country for the first time. Digital technology will be employed to enhance interaction between the visitors and the artworks.
