The teahouse has kept the tradition of staging pingtan performances. The performers sing in Suzhou dialect to the music they play with a three-stringed plucked instrument, telling various stories such as those of daily life.

The guests watch or just listen to the performance while slowly savoring the tea. Sometimes, they are so enchanted that they completely immerse themselves in the worlds in the stories.

The teahouse is a good place to enjoy leisure, watching the green tea leaves swirl, unfold and then float in the clear water, looking at the ancient bridge over the river, and recalling the history of this culture-rich land.
