The pancake is a traditional Suzhou-style dessert made with a kind of plant known as Gnaphalium affine D. Don and wheat sprouts.
The pancakes are usually stuffed with red bean paste or soy bean paste mixed with sweet pork fat cubes and walnuts. There are black sesames on their surfaces. The pancakes are first steamed and then pan-fried. They give a grass-like fragrance, and taste sweet and soft.
