Date:2022-06-30 10:28|Source: |Visits:

Rolls with Three Delicacies, called “Sanxian Qianzhangbao” in Chinese, originated in Huzhou in East China’s Zhejiang province. Young people in Suzhou may not know it, but those born during 1940s to 1960s must have eaten such rolls or, at least, have heard about it.

The rolls feature fillings made from ham, dried scallops, dried shrimps and pork, wrappers made from flour mixed with soybean juice, and soup cooked by simmering chicken or pork bones. The soup usually contains sweet potato vermicelli, shredded egg sheet, and chopped ham and onion.
