SIP was recently accredited the Foreign-invested Headquarters Cluster of Jiangsu Province, becoming the first and only recipient of the honor.
SIP has attracted a host of multinationals to set up their headquarters in it over the past 27 years. Last year, six more foreign-invested headquarters at provincial level and 21 at city level joined SIP, and 46 SIP-based businesses were included in Jiangsu’s foreign-invested headquarters incubation pool, and a number of foreign-funded R&D centers were set up in the area.
To better serve the businesses, SIP is pushing on with a work plan to meet businesses’ demand through a “full closed-loop” online and offline service mechanism.
Moreover, SIP offers considerate support for expatriates to get used to the local life, including establishing specialized service outlets for them, offering help for their living in the area and organizing various events for them to learn about Chinese culture and interact with local people.
This year, SIP will further improve its services for expats and foreign businesses.
