The 2018 SZJLIHM boasted an integrated medical support system, which consisted of 80 on-track first aid personnel, 345 on-track volunteers, 344 standby medical staff, 12 medical service stations, 16 ambulances and an ICU green channel under the first aid command center. The system helped effectively safeguard all the people's safety during the event.

"There is one volunteer every 100 meters and a medic every 200 meters. All of them have rich experience in handling emergencies," Duan Yuyin from the SZJLIHM Organizing Committee said.

Moreover, volunteers with a good command of medical knowledge and foreign languages participated to offer helps to racers from other countries and regions.
