Zhu Huixin, former executive associate conductor at Metropolitan Opera, New York and deputy head of Suzhou Symphony Orchestra (SZSO), was honored a "Leading Talent in High-end Services" for her continuous endeavor to foster the growth of the orchestra and make it a cultural brand of Suzhou city.

Zhu tries her best to help the orchestra get more opportunities for exchanges with domestic and overseas peers as well as seek a fast development and wide recognition. She believes this will facilitate further cultural prosperity in the city and win it higher reputation home and abroad.

"SZSO's first European tour last year is a testimony to that. Its performances received positive response from the local audiences and professionals. We will have more events of similar kind on our future schedules," she said.
