The Overseas Films Exhibition Suzhou Tour of the 26th (2017) Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival kicked off on Sept 21. Six foreign films, including Grand Theatre, Icebreaker, Distancias Cortas, Hasan's Big Boat, Sister and Moje córki krowy, were shown at Suzhou Culture and Arts Centre Cineplex from Sept 20 to 23.

As one of the main events during the Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival, this year's Overseas Films Exhibition attracted 25 films from 18 countries, such as Italy, Iran, Japan and Israel. These films, featuring various topics and styles, demonstrate different social customs and characters of different countries.

Alejandro Guzmán Alvarez, the Mexican director who produced Distancias Cortas, attended the opening ceremony and shared his feelings with Chinese audiences. He takes it as an honor to participate in the exhibition and expects more opportunities to cooperate with Chinese partners.
