The latest statistics show that nearly all the industrial enterprises above designated size in SIP have resumed operations after a closedown due to the outbreak of novel coronavirus pneumonia (NCP) epidemic which is still rampant in the country. This is in addition to many enterprises in other categories that have resumed operations over the past two weeks. The enterprises have reported recovery of productivity by about 50 to 90%.

SIP authorities are offering local enterprises great help for their resumption of operations, including timely informing them of local authorities’ arrangement for businesses and adopting non-face-to-face administrative services and conducting field inspections to help enterprises prepare themselves for operations amid the ongoing epidemic.
According to the local authorities, 40 working groups visited hundreds of enterprises each day over the past two weeks to check the enterprises’ anti-epidemic measures and give them advice so that they could resume operations as soon as possible.
Moreover, the authorities are enhancing inspections over enterprises that have already resumed operations, urging them to pay high attention to the epidemic prevention and control, learning about their difficulties in operations and helping figure out solutions.
