A total of 25 SIP residents who have demonstrated good professional ethics in their lines of work or samaritanism and other virtues in their daily life received the title of “Pioneer of the Times” on Dec 3. They were selected from a host of nominees recommended by the public in the 5th SIP “Touched by Love” Live Action Short Film Shooting, a months-long event organized by SIP authorities to select moral models and high performers in different workplaces and shoot short films about them to spread their spirits to a wide range.

 

It is learnt that SIP organizes an event of the kind each year since 2015. This year’s event incorporated a series of publicity activities such as flash mob shows, speeches and media reports to make the “Pioneer of the Times” and their good deeds widely known.

 

At the event, six of the “Pioneer of the Times” told their stories. For example, Tian Yuan, a lady who quitted a high-paying job to start an ultrasound diagnostic systems company together with her partners, shared her experiences of helping her company develop into a top brand in the country.
